5/19/00 DUII Arrest - Alcohol was found during a traffic stop. The driver arrested for DUII; vehicle impounded.
5/23/00 Vehicle Impound - Driver found to have no insurance during a traffic stop; vehicle impounded.
5/25/00 911 Hang-up - Dispatch advised of 911 hang-up at local resident and was unable to reach anyone on call back. Checked and found everything was OK. Changing batteries in phone.
5/30/00 Citizen Assist - Lawn equipment loaned to neighbor who wouldn't return it. Contacted neighbor and equipment was later returned.
6/2/00 Phone Harassment - Local resident received a threatening phone call. CCSO originally responded to call. Investigation pending.
6/2/00 Concerned Citizen - Local citizen concerned about a sales person coming to the back door instead of the front. Thought this was suspicious.
6/13/00 Theft - Resident on 3000 block of Sixth Street had a check stolen out of their paper box, and it was later washed, written and cashed for a higher amount.
6/15/00 Animal Complaint - Report of two dogs running loose in the 1400 block of Second Street. Owner was also found looking for the dogs. Warning given.
6/15/00 Animal Complaint - Found dog at large in area of "G" and Second Streets. Owner was issued a citation.
6/15/00 Animal Complaint - Report of dog running loose in the 2300 block of Sixth Street and of kids being a hazard to traffic. Contacted kids and dog owner and warning given.
6/19/00 Theft - Resident on 2300 block of Sixth Street had mail stolen from their mailbox. It was later found in St. Helens along the street. Checks were missing from the envelopes.
6/10/00 Theft - Boys BMX bike stolen from youths while they were at Pixie Park. Other youths walking by took the bike and headed for St. Helens. Red 20" Harrow.
6/19/00 Drug Complaint – During traffic stop, the driver was cited for possession of less than 1oz. marijuana.
6/23/00 Animal Complaint - Report of dogs running loose on Metlako Way.
6/23/00 Ordinance Violations - Report of abandoned vehicles in the 2300 block of Sixth Street. Owner given copy of ordinance and time period to remove vehicles.
6/27/00 Lost property - Local citizen reported loosing her diamond necklace at an unknown location.
6/29/00 Helmet Violation - Three youths given warnings for not wearing bicycle helmets.
6/29/00 Theft - Resident in the 1500 block of Fourth Street reported his son's bike being stolen again. Boy's chrome colored BMX Mongoose.
6/30/00 Noise Complaint - Report of rooster in the 2100 block of Second Street announcing it's wake-up call earlier than it needs to. Warning given to owner.
6/30/00 Agency Assist - Assisted St. Helens police on reported domestic in their city.
6/30/00 Agency Assist - Assisted CCSO on reported restraining order violation in Deer Island.
6/30/00 Agency Assist - Assisted St. Helens police in looking for a suspect from their city.
7/10/00 Harassment - Citizen reported receiving harassing phone calls. Found that it was also a restraining order violation. Investigation pending.
7/10/00 Burglary - Citizen in the 1700 block of Sixth Street reported they had money and stereo equipment stolen. Suspect known and investigation pending.
7/17/00 Animal complaint. Report of loose dog at West Oregon Wood Products. Resolved.
7/25/00 Elude. Multi-agency stop near Scappoose. Male and female arrested on numerous warrants.
7/27/00 Complaint regarding debris dumped property.
8/3/00 Animal complaint. Anonymous caller complains about baking dog. Investigated, unable to confirm.
8/4/00 Complaint regarding children using a skateboard ramp on Franklin Street. Investigation pending.
8/6/00 Resident reported stereo stolen from his car when parked near Trestle Breach.
8/9/00 Resident reported CB radio stolen from his truck at his residence on Third Street.
8/10/00 Warning given regarding trespassing at Pixie Park after hours.
8/10/00 Scooter found in brush on "E" Street and The Strand. No visible serial number.
8/11/00 Report of vehicle window broken - Sixth Street.
8/17/00 Report of concrete dumped on private property.
8/17/00 Assisted St. Helens and County on warrant service.
8/17/00 Alarm at Foursquare Church. Found secure.
8/17/00 Animal complaint. Resident reports dogs barking continually. Complainant will try to resolve.

9/24/00 Report of wanted subject 1500 block of Fourth - unable to locate.
9/25/00 Burglary - Fourth Street area. Son broke into home and took rifle. Son has warrants outstanding. Investigation pending.
9/25/00 Attempted theft - resident reported that someone had tried to steal his vehicle. Unknown person had taken the steering column apart.
9/26/00 Stolen property - cell phone stolen from vehicle. Investigation pending.
9/26/00 Civil problem - dispute over vehicles. Threats were made. Kept the peace and advised that the issue was civil.
9/26/00 Request for extra patrol by citizen concerned that grandson would break into house.

10/5/00 Agency assist - assisted SHPD on warrant arrest of a dangerous subject with a gun.
10/6/00 Abandoned vehicle on Highway 30 near "A" Street - vehicle tagged and owner notified.
10/10/00 Noise complaint on Spinnaker Way - unable to locate.
10/11/00 Reported speeding on Tahoma Street and occupants being disrespectful after being told to slow down - white Mercury Sable and brown Ford pickup.
10/16/00 Dog complaint - ongoing problem with dogs running at large on Tahoma Street. Situation taken care of through the court system.

10/16/00 Burglary in Park Drive area. After reporting incident, suspect was identified and problem taken care of.
10/18/00 Vehicle impounded after traffic stop due to suspended driver - vehicle towed and impounded.
10/21/00 Agency assist - assisted SHPD looking for suspect on foot pursuit - suspect was caught.
10/22/00 Agency assist - assisted SHPD on possible DUII at Chimes Crest.
10/23/00 Noise complaint - report of 6 gun shots fired in area of Highway 30 and "E" Street - found to be a vehicle that was backfiring.
10/24/00 Arrest - subject stopped and arrested on probation violation as ordered by St. Helens judge.
10/26/00 Complaint of loose dog in Third Street area. Unable to locate.
10/26/00 Local citizen contacted in regards to a civil problem.
10/27/00 Criminal mischief - resident on Tahoma Street reported having screen door slashed during the night.
11/01/00 Loose dog complaint. Owners contacted and problem taken care of.
11/02/00 Two thefts from vehicles reported in the 2000 block of Sixth Street.
11/3/00 Resident reported receiving harassing telephone calls - suspect is known.
11/7/00 Trespassing - subject reported trespassing in 1800 block of First Street. Suspect later apprehended and charged with two counts of criminal trespass, three counts of criminal mischief II, harassment, and menacing. Same subject also involved in phone harassment incident of 11/3.
11/9/00 Theft from vehicle - tools stolen from vehicle in 1800 block of Sixth Street during the night.
11/10/00 Hazard - report of someone rolling tires down hills into local resident yards. No damage reported to date; tires still have wheels in them.
11/10/00 Theft from vehicle - report of purses stolen from vehicle on Pacific Street.
11/10/00 Identity theft - local citizen reported someone using her name and Social Security Number to obtain credit cards.
12/14/00 Theft. A cell phone was taken from a vehicle at the Foursquare Church..
12/15/00 Suspicious vehicle. Older white pickup with 3 or 4 fog lights driving through town and stopping at houses where it was apparent no one was home. Engine was loud and had a design on the side that looked like a Nike emblem.
12/15/00 Rottweiller with a collar seen wandering near the 1900 block of Third Street.
12/19/00 Speed enforcement on Tahoma Street. Top speed was recorded at 25 MPH.
12/19/00 Warrant arrest.
12/21/00 Traffic Complaint. Highway 30 and Pacific Street. Maroon Dodge pickup driving erratically.
12/23/00 Agency Assist. Assisted OSP with arrest of a DUII driver.

12/29/00 Dog Complaint. Large, aggressive Rottweiller on the bike path near Metlako Way. Investigation continuing.
12/29/00 Dog Complaint. Warning issued for loose dog in the area of 2500 block of Seventh Street.
12/30/00 Found property. Resident found a wallet in the area of 600 block of "I" Street.
12/31/00 Loose dog complaint. Dog running loose in the 1800 block of Seventh Street. Unable to contact owner, will try later.
