ORDINANCE NO. 348
AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE TIMES AND PLACES FOR ALL REGULAR MEETINGS OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLUMBIA CITY, OREGON; AND REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 314
WHEREAS, it appears that the present established times for the meetings of the Common Council of the city of Columbia City, Oregon, are inconvenient to a majority of the members of the Common Council and the Mayor of the city, and the best interests of the city would be promoted by meeting at least twice a month hereafter upon Thursday evenings; now, therefore
THE CITY OF COLUMBIA CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. [Regular Meeting Times and Places.] Hereafter and following the effective date of this ordinance, the regular meetings of the Common Council of the city of Columbia City, Oregon, shall be held as follows:
The first regular meeting each month shall be held in said Council Chambers at 7:30 p.m. upon the first Thursday of each and every month;
The second regular meeting of each month shall be held in the city Council Chambers at 7:30 p.m. upon the third Thursday of each and every month.
Section 2. [Repealer.] Ordinance No. 269 is hereby repealed.
